Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve logo

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a DoD office was established to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment. These citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families.

Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program

The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program is a DoD effort to promote the well-being of National Guard and Reserve members, and their families, by connecting them with resources throughout the deployment cycle. Through Yellow Ribbon events, Service members and loved ones connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments.  Commanders and leaders play a critical role in assuring that Guard members and their families attend YRRP events where they can access information on health care, education and training opportunities, financial, and legal benefits.
